Решение о рекомендации авторского материала к публикации принимается редакционной коллегией с учетом результатов двойного слепого рецензирования. Процедуру рецензирования осуществляют учёные-специалисты по предложению членов редакционного совета.
Поступившие в редакцию материалы рецензируются на основании следующих критериев:
- соответствие содержания статьи тематике журнала;
- соответствие заголовка статьи содержанию статьи;
- уровень научной компетентности автора;
- самостоятельность и оригинальность исследования;
- оригинальность и новизна исследования;
- соблюдение правил цитирования;
- правильность оформления библиографии;
- соблюдение внятного стиля изложения мысли.
Если рукопись представляет интерес для журнала и в целом соответствует всем критериям, то автору (авторам) сообщают о возможных сроках и условиях публикации. Если рецензент или член редколлегии высказал мнение о том, что в рукописи имеются некоторые вполне устранимые недочёты, то материал направляется автору (авторам) на доработку с указанием конкретных замечаний рецензента (рецензентов). Исправленный материал проходит повторное рецензирование. Во всех случаях право окончательного решения о возможности/невозможности публикации той или иной статьи делегируется главному редактору.
Материал, не соответствующий хотя бы одному из перечисленных критериев, отклоняется; при этом автор (авторы) получает мотивированный отказ редакционной коллегии.
Peer Review Process
All the manuscripts received by the editors of Paradigma are double-blind peer-reviewed. Review processing is obligatory for all manuscripts submitted to the editors, regardless of the authors’ academic degrees, titles and official positions. The decision to recommend an author's material for publication is made by the Editorial Board taking into account the results of external anonymous review. The review procedure is carried out by specialists at the suggestion of the members of the Editorial Board.
The manuscripts are reviewed on the basis of the following criteria:
- correspondence between the article content and journal topics;
- correspondence between the article title and the article content;
- the level of research competence of the author;
- independence and originality of the research;
- novelty and scholarly significance of the work;
- compliance with the rules of citation;
- completeness of use of sources and literature;
- implementation of a scientific style.
If the manuscript is of interest to the Journal and generally meets all the criteria, the authors are informed about possible terms and conditions of publication. If the reviewer or a member of the Editorial Board expressed the opinion that the manuscript has some correctable defects, the material is sent to the author(s) for revision with the indication of specific comments of the reviewer(s). The corrected material undergoes a second review. In all cases, the right to make the final decision on the possibility/impossibility of publishing an article is delegated to the Editor-in-Chief.
The material that does not meet at least one of the listed criteria is rejected; in this case the author (authors) receives a motivated refusal of the Editorial Board.
